What's New
As the number 1 ranked entrepreneurial business school in the world, Babson Executive Education is constantly striving to develop new programs that meet the demanding and changing needs of today’s executives. We regularly improve our facilities, our faculty, the curriculum and other resources that will help better prepare Babson Executive Education alumni for tomorrow's business requirements.
The combined ranking is compiled from the average indexed score for schools ranked in both the open and the custom surveys. This year, there were three ties in the top 10 combined ranking.
“Babson’s high placement in the Financial Times rankings reflects our firm commitment to deliver high-impact programs to help companies reach their strategic goals,” says Stephen Flavin, Associate Dean, Babson Executive Education, “We are pleased with our strong showing -- it is testament to our commitment to client satisfaction and our long-standing reputation as a world-class provider.”
This year marks the paper’s seventh year of surveys ranking international non-degree executive education open enrollment and custom programs. Open enrollment programs are courses that are open to all, while custom programs are tailor made to put executives through specific training or development. Schools must have more than $2m of business in either category to participate. Forty-six schools and almost 4,000 program participants completed the open enrollment survey. Fifty-eight schools and almost 450 corporate clients completed the custom survey. A combined rank is produced for schools in both.
The Financial Times ranking complements the Top 10 honors Babson Executive Education received from BusinessWeek‘s last survey in 2003.
Business Week Ranks Babson World Class
In it's 2003 survey of executive education programs Business Week Magazine ranked Babson's custom executive programs as 10th among all of the world’s executive development providers. In its article BW names Babson one of the “top providers of tailor-made executive programs for companies.” This high praise is particularly satisfying because the rankings are based on surveys from directors of executive development at major companies who's resulting opinions represent some of the most experienced buyers in the market for such programs.
