As a professional in the bio-pharma industry, you bring unique skills to the table. Add a strong understanding of strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership, and your contribution to your organization will increase exponentially. Your understanding of the business of science is critical to your organization’s future—and to your career.
The SolutionBased on our experience working with leaders and high-potential professionals with industry companies Babson has created a five-day program specifically focused on and dedicated to the business issues faced by bio-pharma professionals. By integrating business skills within an industry-specific context, each component of this Program and its learning experience are designed to help you become a significant and essential part of your company's management and leadership team.
Covering the core business and management concepts relevant to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, this program is an essential development tool for enhancing the contribution and roles of those in marketing, research, development, finance, business development, human resources, and manufacturing. This is particularly true for bio-pharma scientists.
The program uses a variety of learning approaches, including interactive lectures, panel discussions, case studies, and group exercises. Each session is designed to actively involve participants in the classroom discussion, exploring present and future business and individual development issues in the bio-pharma industry. At the end of the program, participants complete a group project and present their findings regarding the future of the industry.
